Shawn Visger, Owner & Personal Trainer
Shawn has worked in the fitness industry for over 9 years. His experience at numerous fitness facilities has given him the knowledge needed to create a facility of his own. As an owner, he has taken this knowledge and applied it to his own facility in order to provide an atmosphere that is suitable for people of all ages and levels. His personal training background and certification through ESA (Exercise Science Alliance) has enabled him to build a large clientele over the years. In addition to this, Shawn was a Division 1 collegiate athlete. He has had years of experience in coaching and sports-specific training of athletes as well. His training styles are widely ranged, and can be applied to both beginning and advanced clients.

Tom Rogers, Personal Trainer
Tom Rogers started Personal Training when, in the U.S. Navy, they asked him to help Sailors meet Military fitness standards and for those who didn't, provide a diet plan and exercise routine for those Sailors to get them into shape. After getting out of the Navy, Tom continued Personal Training at Silicon Valley Athletic Club, becoming one of the top trainers there. After ClubOne bought out S.V.A.C., they ask Tom to become their Fitness Manager in charge of 10 trainers. After growing the Fitness department in size of staff and revenue over the next few years, Tom and his wife decided to relocate to Sacramento where he became the Fitness Director at Rio del Oro Racquet Club. Tom is now a personal traininer at Integrated Fitness, using his years of experience as a Fitness Manager to help IFIT become on of the premier Fitness facilities in Sacramento. Tom is multi-certified (ISSA, NCEP, APEX, and more) with training experience ranging from Students Athletes wanting more speed and strength for their respected sport, to Senior citizens just wanting better over-all general health benefits. From post-physical therapy training to fast fat loss, and everything in-between. "My fitness philosophy is I want to educated, as well as motivate you to have an excellent workout and maximize your time in the gym. I believe a workout should be challenging as well as fun. I take pride in all of my clients seeing and feeling positive results."

Sam Scholtes
Sam Scholtes, owner of Cultivate Joy, brings over ten years of personal training experience to his holistic style of integrated teaching. Most recently from Capital Athletic Club in Downtown Sacramento, he worked as both a personal trainer and a manager for three years before deciding to head east to learn yoga in India. In February of 2006, Sam successfully completed his yoga teachers training course at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram in Kerala, India. Sam began his personal training career while studying Biology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, training students and student athletes alike. During his time at Cal Poly, Sam worked as a Facility Supervisor at Cal Poly's Rec Sports, volunteered as a trainer for track and wrestling and interned at a physical therapy clinic. Sam is available for one on one instruction, small group classes in yoga and Pilates and for lifestyle educational consultations and seminars. Sam holds a BS in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, along with certifications from the Amercian College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Polestar Pilates, and the Sivananda Yoga Academy.

Kristie Kreun
Kristie Kruen is both ACE certified Personal and ACE Group Exercise instructor. She is also certified in MAT Pilates. Kristie has been in the fitness industry for more than 20 and has an extensive dance background. Krisite teaches classes that incorporate resistance, balance, and core strength conditioning. She also develops programs that specific to the needs of individual clients. Kristie's fitness philosophy puts a lot of emphasis on the mind/body connection. "Most people begin exercising to change their body and/or improve their physical fitness level. What occurs is every client that I have worked with is the benefit of a stronger body and clearer mental focus. Exercise is nature's Prozac."

Kerri Miller, BS, CPT
Kerri Miller is a Certified Personal Trainer and a Nutritional Consultant. She has a B.S. in Kinesiology and Exercise Nutrition from CSU Hayward. Kerri has been working in the health and fitness industry for over 16 years helping people reach their goals of losing weight, decreasing body fat, increasing lean muscle definition, improving their nutritional habit and overall health. Realizing that no two people are alike, Kerri designs unique programs for their nutrition requirements and exercise needs. Kerri’s education and experience allows her to provide each client with an individualized program that best allows them to attain their fitness and health goals.

Sydney Brahm
Sydney Brahm has been working with fitness and nutrition since 1986. She holds nearly 20 fitness, nutrition and health related certificates including: Clinical Lifestyle Educator, F irstLine Therapy, Sports Nutrition (2), Weight Loss (3), Personal Training (2), Group Exercise (8), CPR Instructor, & Certified Nurse Assistant. Over the last 22 years she has helped doctors implement “therapeutic lifestyle change” programs in their practices and provided consulting for them on natural alternatives for their patients. Sydney has helped countless individuals, of all ages as well as those with specific health conditions or injuries, to achieve their wellness goals and improve their quality of life through exercise and nutrition.
